Horacio Espinosa (Guadalajara, Mexico, 1979) is a psychologist and social scientist with a PhD in Social Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and postdoctoral training in Social Anthropology at the University of Barcelona. His research focuses on public space and urban life, particularly informal economies and urbanism, gentrification processes in Ibero-American cities, and urban youth cultures. He has an extensive academic output, including numerous peer-reviewed articles, books, and contributions to international journals and media. He is currently an associate professor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and an independent researcher.
